Hi,

Can someone grant me write access to Twisted?
I want to continue with my Python3 porting patches,
and help test things directly on the buildbots.

Thanks.

I am +1

As a reviewer I am looking forward for just reviewing the buildbot status,
codecoverage and then adding comments, rather than also creating branches
in twisted, updating Trac ticket, trigger buildbot builds, composing the
merge message and doing the actual merge and push :)

Many thanks Craig for your help :)

I am also +1. I think Craig has demonstrated the utmost respect for the process and has demonstrated a clear ability to follow it, which is the main criteria.

Please do remember though that as a team member you have the responsibility to review others' code as well, so be sure to familiarize yourself with the process ;-). I've sent you an invite to the relevant github organization.

Also: we've previously discussed governance and a better onboarding / selection process for new members. We haven't had a person willing to take charge of that process, design and administer it, so in the meanwhile, rather than the vague in-between state we've had, I am going to make it explicit: induction of new members into the Twisted Matrix Labs org will just be at my discretion as Project Leader for now. So I'm making Craig a member by executive order ;-).

If someone would like to step forward to help facilitate a better induction/onboarding process (I don't think this one is ideal, it's certainly more work for me!) then we can do something more formal, but in the meanwhile, it can at least be clear, if not ideal.

Thank you. I will do my best to maintain the high standards of the Twisted
project.
